The ECRICC project has collaborated with several leading research and technical institutions to enhance climate resilience, sustainable fisheries, and coastal ecosystem management. Each institution brings specialized expertise to support different aspects of the initiative:

Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (CIFA)
Provides technical support for the development and promotion of ornamental fisheries, helping to diversify livelihood opportunities for coastal communities.

Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT)
Offers technical guidance on the production of fish value-added products, supporting income generation and improving the marketability of fisheries-based enterprises.

Chilika Development Authority (CDA)
Conducts a preliminary study on saltmarshes and seagrass in coastal ecosystems, contributing to conservation and habitat restoration efforts.

IIT, Bhubaneswar
Extends technical support for saltmarsh and seagrass research, aiding in coastal resilience and carbon sequestration studies.

National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM)
Facilitates training and exposure visits on seagrass and saltmarsh ecosystems, enhancing knowledge-sharing and capacity-building for sustainable coastal management.

ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (NRRI)
Conducts a study on the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through the System of Rice Intensification (SRI), promoting climate-smart agricultural practices.
These collaborations aim to strengthen climate adaptation strategies, improve ecosystem restoration efforts, and promote sustainable livelihoods in coastal regions.
