About the project

ECRICC is a transformative initiative aimed at addressing the growing vulnerabilities of India’s coastal regions to climate change. Spanning 949 villages across seven key landscapes in four districts of Odisha, the program is focused on enhancing adaptive capacity, restoring vital ecosystems, and strengthening community resilience. At its core, ECRICC promotes sustainable management of coastal ecosystem, community-led adaptation, and innovative climate-resilient livelihood solutions. Through strong partnerships, capacity building, and inclusive engagement, the initiative works to safeguard coastal livelihoods and ecosystems against the mounting threats of climate change.
